Ocala and Gainesville, Florida Choir Sings for Veterans Memorial Ceremony

The choir from the Ocala and Gainesville Congregations were invited to sing at the Marion County Memorial Veterans Ceremony on Saturday, January 9, 2010. This is a ceremony that is held quarterly and the purpose is to remember those Veterans that have lost their lives.

The ceremony was to have taken place at the Veterans Memorial Park-but because the temperature was below 25 degrees-it was moved inside to the County Commissioners Auditorium. Our choir had the opportunity  to sing three moving and beautiful songs. Many of our members attended this moving and touching ceremony as well.
